Mode of Treatment

The clients have access to individual and group counseling. When necessary family intervention may be reqiuired. We provide art and other expressive mediums for the clients. Health groups are presented with topics such as HIV/AIDS, Sexually transmitted Diseases (STDS), Hepatitis A, B, C, and Tuberculosis. We have members from 12 Steps support group come to speak about the role of Spirituality in recovery. We currently have men's, women's, adolescent's, Spanish-speaking co-ed, and co-ed support groups. We have Spanish speaking counselors on site. We are seeking ways to expand our offerings, which would include staff that speak Mandarin, Cantonese, French and Russian. We have an educaitonal component, providing Pre-GED, GED, ESOL and college preparation. At our agency we offer a Career Development Program which has a wealth of job readiness services for those that qualify. We have fun activities, such as a Recognition every two months and a summer softball team open to clients.
