On a continuous basis the following positions are available:
Case Manager
Responsibilities Include:
" Caseload of clients and their families
" Design and implementation of service plans for all clients
" Needs assessments, appropriate referrals, advocacy
" Some client contact, including home and hospital visits
" Team approach to ensure client service and contractual compliance
" Crisis Intervention
" Case conferences and networking, both internal and external, linkage
development, medical monitoring
" Discharge planning
" Maintenance of up-to-date case records

Job Qualifications:
Case Management, or Counseling experience. Knowledge of HIV,
entitlements, substance abuse, and homelessness. BA or BS with 1-2
years experience, or some college with over two years experience. Must
have excellent written and verbal skills. Spanish speaking would be a plus
for this position.
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. At times, Case
Managers may be required to work beyond their designated work hours.

Client Worker
Responsibilities:
Responsible for interacting with clients; prepare lunch/assist with lunch as
needed; building security; rooms and building checks on an hourly basis;
prepares monthly intake, discharge and acceptance reports; prepare
monthly DHS intake screening report which is to be submitted to Assistant
Director, update intake, discharge and acceptance files on a daily basis;
intake screening and orientation of new clients; assist the Program
Director/Assistant Director in intake and setting up appointments and
schedules for new clients to move in; distribute medication and tokens
and quarters; stripping of rooms; bagging; storing and retrieving clients
personal items; conduct monthly fire drills; fund raising, attend all
mandatory workshops and DOMI/TP events.

Job Qualifications:
Associate Degree with minimum 2 years experience working with young
adults, or satisfactory equivalent.
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 40 hrs. Per week
Substance Abuse Counselor
Job Responsibilities:
" Perform intakes and admissions (to include phone screenings, Level of
Care Determination, physical assessment of clients).
" Conduct a comprehensive psychosocial and mental health assessment
of clients accepted for treatment at Turning Point within the first two
weeks of admission
" Prepare a written treatment plan within 30 days of client's admission
with the active participation of the client based on the comprehensive
evaluation; submit plan for final approval by Turning Point's
multi-disciplinary team
" Administer and monitor client's toxicologies
" Prepare written reports as directed and collaborate with all agencies
involved with client's case
" Assist interns and other support staff
" Participate in case conferences with clients as needed
" Participate in staff conferences with other treatment professionals to
review treatment progress of selected clients
" Prepare client's discharge plans
" Maintain an individual and group counseling caseload
" Participate in utilization review and other quality assurance activities
" Assist in the facilitation of professional development of staff
" Participate in other department and agency activities such as: Staff
Development, Client's Awards and Recognition Dinner and any other
event related to client activities
" Other responsibilities as directed by Program Director, LCSW and Senior
Counselor
" Bi-lingual a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum GED with 2 year's experience and have CASAC-T or Bachelor's
Degree and 1 year experience with CASAC-T or CASAC preferred.
Strong diagnostic, assessment, treatment and discharge planning skills.
Knowledge of various group and individual treatment modalities.
Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-IV, OASAS LOCADTR, and relevant
community resources. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Must have good computer skills.

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 40 hrs. Per week
